At Carbonof, we harness the value of conservation and restoration of forests and mangroves carried out by local communities. We promote sustainable practices in technology, agriculture, and livestock, while enhancing transparency in carbon markets. We utilize emission reduction certificates (carbon credits) to sustainably finance our nature-based and carbon capture technology projects.
Our multidisciplinary team is committed to climate action and social impact. We strongly believe in the significance of carbon capture projects in combating the climate crisis, bridging the final gap in our carbon footprints, and improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable.
Our History
Carbonof was founded in 2021 with the objective of recovering and protecting one of our main allies against the climate crisis: forests and mangroves. In Mexico and Latin America, thousands of hectares of forests and mangroves are lost annually due to a lack of resources or incentives to choose land conservation and restoration.
At Carbonof, we see technology as an ally in reducing the carbon footprint of human activities, which is why we integrate it into the agricultural, livestock, and forestry sectors.
We work with local communities, private landowners, and governments to develop projects that reduce and capture carbon emissions in the forestry, agricultural, and livestock sectors.
We believe that carbon capture and emission reduction projects can be catalysts for social well-being and climate action. Our commitment is to continue working towards creating fair businesses for the environment, local communities, and economic development.
